About
A neighborhood public bath in Ginza 8-chome, a 5-minute walk from JR Shimbashi Station and Ginza Station (Tokyo Metro Ginza Line), operating since 1863. It moved into its current in-building form when it was rebuilt in 1957. It keeps a traditional changing room with a bandai (attendant's seat), Kutani-ware tile pictures of koi and seasonal flowers and birds, and wall paintings of Mt. Fuji that differ between the men's and women's baths. There are two baths, the larger one with a jet bath, and seasonal baths such as iris or yuzu are offered at times. Body soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bathing area. Admission follows Tokyo's uniform government-controlled public bath rate (¥600 for adults). Closed on Sundays and public holidays, and closes at 20:00 on Saturdays.

Admission follows Tokyo's uniform government-controlled public bath rate (revised August 1, 2026: adult age 12+ ¥600, elementary school child ¥200, preschool child ¥100). The child price shown is the elementary-school rate. Towels, soap and similar items are sold at the front desk (bath towels are not sold).
