Tattoos not permitted (official)
About
A large bathing facility inside Ariake Garden, a 3-4 minute walk from Ariake and Ariake-tennisnomori Stations on the Yurikamome Line. Natural hot-spring water drawn from 1,500m underground (an iodine-containing sodium chloride strong-salt spring, mildly alkaline) fills indoor baths - including a carbonated bath and a reclining bath - and an outdoor bath. Two sauna types (a dry sauna and a roughly 50°C steam salt sauna), five kinds of ganban'yoku bedrock baths (junior-high age and up, +¥800), body care and akasuri scrub treatments, dining at Ariake Kitchen, and a women-only Mermaid Living lounge round out the facility. Open 24 hours (admission accepted 5:00-1:00) with no fixed weekly closed day, though bathing is unavailable from 1:30 to 5:00 for cleaning. The facility's house rules state that guests with tattoos should refrain from using the baths.
