A 5-minute walk from Zoshiki Station on the Keikyu Main Line. This bathhouse in Nakarokugo, Ota Ward, is known for its jet-black "kuroyu" hot-spring water, which is used source-fed in the open-air bath, the cold bath, and the hot bath alike. The spring is classified as a sodium bicarbonate-chloride cold mineral spring. Other baths include a cypress-wood bath (hinoki, from trees over 1,000 years old), an electric bath, an ultrasonic jet bath, sitting and lying baths, and a daily-rotating medicinal bath. The sauna is a "Bona sauna" heated to around 80°C, available for an extra ¥200 on top of admission; the source-fed cold bath runs around 24°C. Admission follows the shared rate for Ota Ward's public bathhouses: ¥600 for adults (middle-school age and up), ¥200 for elementary-school-age children, and ¥100 for preschoolers. Shampoo and body soap are not provided, and towel and dryer rental cost extra. The facility has a waiting/rest area, a small shop, vending machines, and a coin laundry, but no parking. Open 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays, and from 10:00 AM (morning bath) to 10:00 PM on weekends and holidays. Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
