About
A men-only sauna and accommodation complex on the 2nd-3rd floors (reception on 3F) of the COERU Shibuya Dogenzaka building, a 4-minute walk from Shibuya Station's A0 exit (3 minutes from the south exit of Keio Inokashira Line's Shinsen Station). It rebranded from "Shibuya Bunka Shinka" to "Dogen Sauna & Stay" on December 1, 2025. The sauna is open 12:00 to 10:00 the next day with no fixed closing days, and holds up to 15 people. Its dry "Bona sauna" room runs periodic automatic loyly, paired with two bathtub-style cold plunges at around 10°C. The relaxation lounge has chairs facing a screen with music. General admission is 60 minutes: weekdays cost ¥1,500 (12:00-18:00), ¥1,750 (18:00-23:00), ¥1,500 (23:00-6:00), or ¥1,300 (6:00-10:00); weekends/holidays cost ¥1,850 from 12:00-23:00 and the same off-peak rates otherwise. A flat ¥500 covers a 30-minute automatic extension. Shampoo, body soap, face wash, hand towels, and sauna mats are free; bath towels (¥250), toothbrushes (¥100), and razors (¥100) cost extra. Cash is not accepted; only credit cards, IC cards, and QR code payment are supported. The same building also houses a dormitory-style hostel (2F-3F) with 10 bunk beds for up to 12 guests, priced from ¥6,000 on weekdays and ¥7,000 on Fri/Sat/pre-holiday nights (check-in 15:00, check-out 10:00). Tattoos are not addressed on the official site, but a third-party blog reports that guests can be admitted by covering them with a single supplied sticker.
