About
A 1-minute walk from the south exit of Nishi-Ogikubo Station on the JR Chuo Line. This penthouse-style, purpose-built Finnish sauna facility opened in December 2021. The men's sauna room, said to be among the largest in Tokyo at capacity for 30, is a stadium-style space centered on a custom oversized sauna stove with auto-löyly. The women's sauna room seats about 20 and uses an iki-brand stove, also with auto-löyly. Walls and ceilings throughout are finished in domestic cypress, and sauna mats are rented out to each guest individually. The cold bath is a personal, outdoor plunge pool designed so guests don't have to share it. There are two relaxation ("totonoi") areas, one indoor and one outdoor on the rooftop, with free ponchos available for the outdoor space. Admission follows the time-based "Sauna Cafe Plan": from ¥1,180 for 1 hour on weekdays and from ¥1,680 on weekends/holidays (morning entry; afternoon entry costs more), with all-day plans at ¥3,980 on weekdays and ¥4,480 on weekends/holidays. Elementary-school children are admitted free, and a ¥500 student discount applies to junior-high-and-up students entering in the afternoon. The facility does not accept cash — only credit cards, IC transit cards, and QR payments. Guests with tattoos may enter if they can be covered with a sticker, though very extensive tattoos may be refused. Only guests of elementary-school age or older may enter, and elementary/junior-high students must be accompanied by a guardian.
