About
A sauna-only facility in Tachikawa's Akebonocho neighborhood, a 3-minute walk from the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station, opened on April 29, 2025. Built across roughly 500 square meters, the site consists of seven separate structures: an entrance building, a locker/shower building, four sauna buildings, and one premium sauna building. Its five named sauna rooms (Metsa, Palo, Taivas, Maapera, and Kulta) all allow self-service loyly, and their 25cm-thick walls are designed to retain heat while still drawing in fresh air. After a sauna session, guests can cool down in an outdoor rest area surrounded by greenery. Swimwear is mandatory (rental available for ¥500), and the men's and women's sauna areas swap weekly every Wednesday. The facility is open daily from 7:30am to 4:00am the next day (last admission 3:00am), though women are only admitted until 11:00pm and must leave by midnight, and Friday is a men-only "Men's Day." There is no fixed weekly closed day. Pricing is unlimited-time at ¥2,500 on weekdays and ¥3,000 on weekends/holidays, with shorter timed plans also available (e.g. ¥1,500 for 60 minutes for men or 90 minutes for women). Towels are included in the admission fee, so none need to be brought. Cash is not accepted; payment is by credit card, transit IC card, or QR-code payment only.
